Gary J. Schefsky

Corporate Strategy, Finance, Business Development – Software, Internet, New Media, Information Technology, Financial Services, Clean Technology; Family Office Fiduciary; Real Estate Finance and Development.

Mr. Schefsky has twenty-plus years experience in advising entrepreneurial and high growth companies across multiple industries with emphasis in software, internet, new media and financial services. His particular expertise is integrating corporate strategy, business model creation, and corporate finance. He has extensive experience identifying and closing strategic accounts, new business, and joint ventures with top tier partners. He has experience in the private equity industry, including fund strategy and formation, and venture fundraising strategy. He was the Vice President of Corporate Development, Creditland, an e-finance internet company. He has advised numerous innovators in the convergence of media and the internet, e-commerce, and software as a service. Mr. Schefsky was previously an outside General Counsel attorney to numerous software, media, and internet start-ups.

Mr. Schefsky has served as a fiduciary with P&L and operating management responsibility for a diversified family office, derived from real estate and securities with duties including partner succession, portfolio administration, asset hold/sell strategy, dispositions, and oversight of retail leasing, legal, and accounting.

Mr. Schefsky holds a Juris Doctorate and LL.M. in Transnational International Law from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a BA, with high honors, in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. From 1986 - 1990, he was an Attorney at Law specialized in real estate, finance, and international transactions. Mr. Schefsky is a Board of Trustees Member of the A+D Museum, Los Angeles and past Trustee of the San Francisco Botanical Garden, Golden Gate Park.


Toby Tobaccowala

Corporate Strategy, Operations, Venture Finance, Team Building, Partnering and Sales Strategy - Software, New Media and Information Technology.

Mr. Tobaccowala is a senior executive and entrepreneurial, high-growth management consultant for more than 30 years. He has expertise in all aspects of company building and growth with operational execution focus. His particular strengths include entrepreneurial start- up company operational roll-out, team building, venture capital finance, and sales strategy.

Current Advisory Board participant: Edge Spring, a visual intelligence and business analytics software company funded by Lightspeed Venture Partners; Pearl Street Group, a venture lender and venture equity investor; Olixir Technologies, supplier of rugged, high-capacity external portable hard drives; 360Fresh, automated medical information systems platform; Optimal Solutions, an SAP enterprise technology consulting and staffing firm.

Chairman, CRI Advantage, IT consulting and managed services provider: enterprise systems, messaging, and infrastructure focused on public sector contracting. Toby is also on the Board of Directors of Optimal Inc, an enterprise technology consulting and staffing firm focused on Real-Time Enterprise through the implementation of SAP technology.

Former Chairman of R4 Global Solutions, a RAFID tag technology company focused on real-time information with installed clients including consumer goods, retail, and pharmaceutical industry, acquired by Verisign in 2005. Until late in 2000, Executive VP at AppNet where he completed twelve acquisitions in nine months and guided the team throughIPO, acquired by Commerce One in Q-3, 2000.

Prior professional experience includes Strategic Business Unit (SBU) President of the Media Industry Group at EDS. As SBU President, Toby increased revenue over 1,650%, from $15 million in 1990 to $250 million in five years. Toby worked at EDS for 23 years, where he started out in engineering and worked extensively in Retail, Financial and Telecommunication Industries. At EDS, Toby was globally responsible for Management Information Services for Western Union, where he doubled productivity and exceeded the projected margin by 100%.

Mr. Tobaccowala holds an MBA from the Bajaj Institute of management in India and a BS, EE from Maharaja Shivajirao University, India.


Nancy A. YOUNGE

Corporate Strategy, Communications, Team Building, Partnering - Energy, Cleantech, Software, Technology, Information Technology, Family Office, & Real Estate.

Nancy Yonge has more than thirty years experience as a businesswoman, academic, and policy adviser in the United States and abroad. Her particular strengths as a mentor to entrepreneurs are in the areas of organization, strategy, financing and corporate communications. She has assisted more than sixty new enterprises, primarily in technology, energy production, conservation, and related alternative energy field.

Dr. Yonge’s activities fostering and supporting entrepreneurs have included projects sponsored by the Institute for Global Management, the Silicon Valley Management Project, Euro-Worldwide Investments, and New Luna Ventures, and the Luso-American Foundation. During the 1990’s under contract to USAID, Dr. Yonge traveled to ten countries in central and eastern Europe, presenting lectures, seminars, and training sessions for entrepreneurs. She is author of a Primer for Managers in A Market Economy which has been translated and widely disseminated in Eastern Europe.

Dr. Yonge has served as Chief Economist at PacifiCorp a multi-state, multi-functional public utility holding company in Portland, Oregon and as a consultant to utilities, energy and natural resource companies and regulatory bodies throughout the United States and in Europe. She has been affiliated with consulting firms Cresap, McCormack and Page; Theodore Barry and Associates; Putman, Hayes and Bartlett; RJ Rudden; Booz Allen, and the Law and Economics Consulting Group in their energy practices. At Tapas Partners, Dr. Yonge assisted entrepreneurs involved in developing innovative products and services related to energy production and conservation.

Dr. Yonge holds an AB with honors from Smith College, a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a JD from the University Of Connecticut School Of Law and an LLM in International Tax from Regent University School of Law.
